The violinist and former Manchester Camerata leader Richard Howarth returns to conduct our Orchestra in Residence, the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra. The programme ranges from fairytales (Sleeping Beauty) to warfare (the ever popular 1812) to Respighi’s vivid musical portrait of the human and natural world activities that go on amongst Rome’s pine trees. During the evening, we also showcase the talents of two outstanding young local musicians, Bethan Allmand and Tom Blomfield.
