This new initiative is an opportunity for artists to have a one on one 30 minute surgery with our panel of mentors, bringing a fresh perspective to the development of their practice. Our mentors offer expertise in a variety of sectors including arts, business, marketing and funding and will be able to give you bespoke advice specific to your practice. We will initially be hosting two mentorship surgery sessions, with a view to running more in the autumn and next year.

+ Examples of your work in any or all of the following formats:

  • Portfolio of work
  • Laptop/tablet with images
  • Memory stick of photos of your work

+Your artist statement and CV

To introduce yourself and your work, you will need to give a brief presentation to the panel, who will then look at your work and artist statement and offer feedback, advice and support.

Due to the nature of these sessions, there will be specific appointments with the panel. You will be given a timeslot for your surgery. As places are limited, we will be selecting who the panel sees. Please only register interest in one of the sessions, in order for us to be able to maximise the number of artists we support.

On confirmation of booking, you will need to pay a refundable deposit of £25 to secure your place.

This seminar is FREE to HG and AAW participants and includes tea/coffee on arrival. There is a café on-site where lunch can be purchased.
