The sensational Africa Entsha are returning to Wrexham at the end of their UK tour to run a singing workshop and perform in concert on 14th September.

Africa Entsha is a five piece a cappella group from South African township Soweto, who reached a global audience with their performance at the South African World Cup opening ceremony. Their sound blends western pop elements of the male vocal harmony tradition alongside the soft and exhilarating spirit of traditional South African songs. Since coming to the UK three years ago the group have grown massively in popularity, being nominated for Edinburgh Fringe Best Live Act last year, and this year being awarded a five star review at Brighton Fringe.

Experience the unique style of Africa Entsha for yourself – come along to the singing workshop where you will get the chance to learn and sing with the group, and then watch them perform with Wrexham’s very own Community Choir later the same evening.

Singing Workshop: 2-4pm, Erddig Hall’s Exhibition Room, £5.

Concert: 7.30pm, St. Giles’ Parish Church, £10.

Combination tickets (workshop and concert) are also available for £13.
