Oriel Learning is seeking Artist Facilitators to lead spring / summer workshops or mini course/s.
Note: Artists will need to be able to work with different ages and abilities and have experience facilitating. They will also need to be registered as self-employed and have up-to-date Wrexham CRB/DBS and Public Liability Insurance, before work for WCBC can commence.
Oriel Learning is looking for:
1. Artist Facilitators for several workshops in the Summer holidays for children / families. The exhibition at the time will be Helen Sear’s Lure (recently at Oriel Davies). Links to her work would make your application more appealing.
2. An artist to work with residents at Plas Telford (housing complex for older people) and The Opportunities Centre (adults available in the day) out at Plas Madoc, during May (and including Adult Learners Week), with Gwanwyn funding. Links to our Print International 2013 exhibition would make your application more appealing.
3. Mini course tutors:
i, To run an afternoon/evening or Saturday ‘Knit, Stitch and Natter’ class for adults.
ii, To run a Burlesque Life Drawing afternoon/evening course for adults.
