Morgan Griffith’s work references nostalgia/ reminiscence. Sonomano takes found imagery and reappropriates it to create images that confuse and posses a dark humour, recalling John Heartfield and Monty Python. There is reference to diagrammatic drawing but the pieces exist purely as artworks. There is a distinctly graphic sensibility in the creation of images. Morgan Griffith (Sonomano) is emerging as one of the leading artists working in this genre.
