Helfa Gelfs last seminar of the spring

If you are interested in learning how to run an online campaign through the use of websites and social media platforms, this practical one-day course is for you. The aim is to improve your communications with buyers, galleries and other artists. By the end of the day, you will obtain the skills and understand the strategies required to run a successful online campaign.

The Workshop Day


The day will be divided into two:


  • In the morning session we will focus on ‘How to start a campaign’.
  • In the afternoon we will determine how to drive and sustain ‘Online campaign communications’.

 


Workshop Objectives

Through practical activities, presentation and theory, you will cover the following topics:

 

  • The opportunities the web and social media offer artists to market themselves and engage audiences.
  • How to identify your aims and objectives before choosing websites, web tools and social media.
  • Understanding your audience and using this knowledge to target your effort online.
  • How to build a campaign audience.
  • Structuring a campaign to make the most of the web.
  • Creating engaging and sustainable content for your campaign.
  • Finding your campaign style – ‘informal versus formal’.
  • Web tools that can help you.
  • Obeying the online and social media ‘rules of the road’.
  • Exploring online and social media etiquette – ‘Don’t be rude’.
  • Monitoring and measuring your campaign.

 


By the end of the workshop, you will better understand how to run a campaign online through the use of websites and social media platforms, and know how to target your effort, create great content, understand the rules and get a return.

 


Tea ,coffee and welsh cakes will be served on arrival. There is a café on-site from which you can purchase your lunch.
