Description
This is a call out to all artists about a chance to contribute your artwork towards an exhibition at Undegun that will run for three weeks from Thursday March 20th. In conjunction with National Science and Engineering week the British Science Association and THIS Project are collaborating to create a family friendly exhibition in which artists are asked to respond to or interpret illusions of the senses to explain… the Art of Illusions.
On the 20th March 2014 at 6.30-8.30pm Undegun will host an evening of workshops, demonstrations and talks, supported by the British Science Association. All welcome.
Brief
Artists are asked to respond to or interpret Illusions or how our senses can be tricked. This can involve taste, sound, touch, sight and even smell. This is an open brief so there are few restrictions but please consider our audience includes families and children, this is an opportunity to help them engage with science and art. We will accept new or existing pieces of work and this brief is open to all disciplines in any media.
Deadline
Anyone interested in submitting work or if you have any questions please email: contact@thisproject.co.uk
The deadline to register your interest is 20th February 2014 and final submissions is 14th March 2014.
