Jonathan is a Yorkshire-born, self-taught artist, now residing in Wrexham, after gaining his degree in illustration at Glyndwr.

He works primarily in oils and like many artists finds constant inspiration from the figure.

In 2008 he undertook a project aided by the Arts Council of Wales. A Journey which took him around Wales absorbing the culture and being inspired by the characters he met.
