Some of you my remember back in May we hosted the first of our Oriel Wrecsam ‘Off-site’ events. The “Lleisiau/Voices” open-day was part of a performance project produced in partnership between Chapter and good cop bad cop, commissioned as part of Dylan Thomas 100, a year-long programme of cultural and academic activity inspired by the life and work of Dylan Thomas, to mark the centenary of his birth. Open days took place around the country aiming to uncover and present to the public the diversity of uses of the human voice in both official languages of Wales, and others spoken by the people who live in Wales.
Undegun was graced by poets, musicians and storytellers some of whom have made it to the final show. Lleisiau Live and Online | Yn Fyw ac Ar-lein. Performances take place at Chapter, Cardiff from 8 – 10 May 2014 and can also be streamed live.
