PUBLIC EVENT – Creative Futures Glyndwr Presents:

__Getting Started -The first steps on the road to turning professional __
The transition from life as a student, to life as a professional within the creative industries, can be a difficult one, and simply knowing where to start can be a challenge.
Mike Corcoran presents Getting Started – The first steps on the road to turning professional, a session aimed at anyone with aspirations to undertake freelance work, go self-employed, or simply raise their profile and identify opportunities within their sector.
It will be filled with practical tips and positive steps that can help anyone at the very beginning of their journey, and increase their chances of finding success in the future.

___Biography___
Mike Corcoran Zone Enterprise Hub Manager with Glyndwr, as well as freelance presenter, consultant, physicist and philosopher. Mike has a natural curiosity towards the world, a love of investigation, innovation and discovery, and a desire to inspire others to develop their ideas and realise their potential.
Mike has presented to audiences of all ages and abilities, on a range a subjects and through a wide variety of environments; from auditoriums and classrooms to street theatres and comedy stores.
Zone offers free enterprise support to students and graduates interested in developing their own business ideas, working freelance or wanting to develop employability skills.
