This year we’re hosting a Christmas Fayre on Saturday, 14th December, and this will be the perfect opportunity for people to pick up unique, one-of-a-kind Christmas gifts from artists across the region. Undegun will play host to jewellery makers, portrait & landscape painters, and woodcarvers amongst others.
The fayre provides a one-day-only opportunity to get some of your Christmas shopping done and get your hands on handmade, locally sourced, bespoke gifts for Christmas from artists and craft makers from across north wales including many who are based at the art space itself. There’ll also be food, drink and live entertainment throughout the day!
In addition the 14th December presents a final opportunity to catch the ground-breaking ‘Open Market’ exhibition – where artists from across the region were challenged to create new works of art using materials bought at Wrexham’s historic indoor markets. We’ll also be hosting a group of Portugese artists as they prepare work for a show in Berlin.
Dave Gray of THIS Project: “This is the first arts fayre that we’ve done, and it’s a great opportunity for local artists and crafters to sell their products just before Christmas, and a chance for the public to pick up affordable gifts that are not for sale anywhere else, and are unique works of art”.
It is still possible to take a stall and anyone looking to have a stall on the day should email kirsty@thisproject.co.uk by December 10th
